Submit a poster request
To request a poster to be printed, please use the kintribute form linked below. The CM team will email you when your poster is ready to be picked up. Alternatively, posters can be sent via email to CEHD Dean's office for printing. See the Dean's office guidelines before submitting your request there.
Please note: All poster requests must be submitted 3 business days in advance to your expected pickup.
Guidelines
Posters must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance of pick up.
You are strongly encouraged to use this standard 42 in x 56 in template. Posters not using this template may take much longer to print.
Poster dimensions cannot be larger than 42 inches x 56 inches. We can scale down from the template; scaling up may provide mixed results.
NB: Poster dimensions for the KinSC Research Day are 36 in x 48 in.
Use high-resolution or vector imagery.
Use no more than three standard fonts, avoiding serif fonts.
To reduce ink costs, poster backgrounds MUST be white.
To save on resources, we will no longer print posters that have a solid background. Any posters submitted with solid backgrounds will be manually rejected with notification to the submitter, increasing the time needed for production and printing any revision.
The poster MUST display School of Kinesiology and University of Minnesota branding. Inclusion of the college brand is suggested.
Your poster must be submitted via the kintribute form: z.umn.edu/kinposter or z.umn.edu/kintribute
Both your original PowerPoint file AND an Adobe Acrobat PDF of the same must be uploaded
If the PowerPoint file is too large to upload:
put it on a Google drive
share it as publicly viewable
copy the access link
paste it into the blank slide of an empty PowerPoint presentation
save the PowerPoint file entitled "Doe-J too large.pptx"
upload that file
The filenames for both files must START with your last name, a hyphen, then your first initial; e.g., "Doe-J [my poster].pdf"
Posters not meeting these guidelines may be rejected. If you have any questions, send email to kintribute@umn.edu.
